Dylan

My wonderful, beautiful, constant companion! Faithful friend, and now best friend!

Peter bought Dylan for me when I had a nervous breakdown and could not cope with getting out of the house, or indeed looking after myself. When Peter was diagnosed with cancer, my whole world fell apart, and selfishly I gave in. I stopped looking after myself, I concentrated on Peter and drove him mad! He decided I needed to channel my energies into looking after a puppy. Everybody said it was the last thing we needed, a mad puppy having accidents all over the place! However, Dylan came to live with us and I have never regretted one moment. He is the most sensitive dog I have ever seen. He brought a great lot of joy to Peter and seemed to understand that Peter was ill and never jumped on him or hurt him. Dylan also recognised when Peter had been in hospital, and was a total devoted companion to Peter and would sit quietly for hours with Peter on the settee.
